Vivo is set to launch a new smartphone in India on September 6. Called Vivo V11 Pro, the smartphone is expected to come with in-screen fingerprint sensor, which lets you unlock the phone by tapping on the display. A similar feature is available on Vivo’s OnePlus 6 rival, Vivo Nex.

Apart from in-screen fingerprint sensor, Vivo hasn’t officially revealed much about its upcoming smartphone. According to reports, V11 Pro is going to be a mid-range smartphone sporting a notch display unlike the Nex that has no notch and comes with a motorised pop-up selfie camera tucked in the top edge.

The notch on Vivo V11 Pro is expected to be much smaller than other Android smartphones. The smartphone is said to come with a 6.41-inch Super AMOLED display with 2340x1080 pixels resolution. For performance, the phone will be running on Qualcomm’s mid-range Snapdragon 660 processor along with 6GB of RAM. The phone will come with 128GB storage, reports GSMArena.
Other key features of the phone include a dual-camera setup featuring 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. For selfies it will have a big 25-megapixel camera. Vivo V11 Pro will be powered by 3,400mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and should be upgradable to Android Pie.
